Today, April 12, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have decreased by another TRY 200/mt ($11/mt) over the day, amid the currency fluctuations and sluggish demand. Accordingly, 12 mm rebar spot prices in Turkey have settled at TRY 15,600-16,000/mt or $902-925/mt ex-warehouse, depending on the region.
Icdas A.S. has kept its rebar price stable at $965/mt ex-works today. Most Marmara and Izmir-based mill are offering rebar at $960-965/mt ex-works, special discounts are applicable for serious buyers. Turkish rebar market is silent on the demand side due to the Ramadan period.
