Today, April 20, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have mostly increased by TRY 100-300/mt ($5-17/mt), except in the Marmara region where just minor changes have been seen in prices in the local currency and on US dollar basis in order to allow local spot rebar prices to come into line with those in the rest of the country, while overall in Turkey there is relatively positive sentiment on the demand side. Accordingly, 12 mm rebar spot prices in Turkey have settled at TRY 14,700-15,100/mt or $849-872/mt ex-warehouse, depending on the region.
The producers’ official rebar price range varies at $900-940/mt ex-works in the Marmara and Izmir regions, including prices from Icdas A.S.
