Today, March 30, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have fallen by TRY 100-200/mt with minor changes on US dollar basis amid the appreciation of Turkish lira against US dollar and some buyers are taking their time to restock in order to monitor the next deals in the import scrap trend. Accordingly, 12 mm rebar spot prices in Turkey have settled at TRY 15,800-16,100/mt or $912-929/mt ex-warehouse, depending on the region.
Icdas A.S. has kept its rebar price stable at $950/mt ex-works, while most mills in the Marmara region are also offering rebar at $950-955/mt ex-works. Also, one Izmir-based mill has closed its rebar sales earlier today amid rising production costs.
