Domestic long product prices increase in India

As per the recent information from India, domestic prices, for long products including those of the major mills such as SAIL and Tata Steel, have increased, effective from July 2006. Accordingly, prices of billets, high carbon wire rods and reinforcing bars have increased by $20/mt, while price of mild steel wire rods by $12/mt.
