SteelOrbis has been informed that in the local Taiwanese steel market the prices of commercial grade billet of 120 mm x 12 mm have declined by NTD 200/mt ($6/mt) since last week and are now at NTD 13,300-13,500/mt ($419-425/mt) ex-works, for early January shipments.
In the meantime, rebar prices in the Taiwanese domestic market, which decreased by NTD 100-200/mt ($3-6/mt) since last week, are now at the following levels:
