Brazilian producers are negotiating hot dipped galvanized (HDG) product orders in the range of $770/mt to $790/mt FOB, depending on grade, a local exporter told SteelOrbis.

The price range compares with offers of $760/mt FOB for the G40 grade two weeks ago, a price that had remained stable for three weeks.

According to the source, the latest increase is in line with the evolution of steel prices worldwide.

In June, for price deals probably closed in April CSN exported 22,900 mt of HDG at $816/mt, Usiminas exported 16,100 mt at $892/mt and ArcelorMittal exported 3,000 mt at $846/mt, all FOB conditions.
