Import plate demand in Turkey has remained on the weak side, while prices have shown no changes since last week.
Currently, steel plate offers to Turkey given by Ukraine-based Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works are standing at $550/mt CFR, while Ilyich Iron & Steel Works is offering plate to Turkey at the base price level of $550/mt CFR - both for shipments in October. In addition, Macedonia-based Makstil's offers are standing at $740/mt CFR - for September deliveries.
