Import plate offers to Turkey from Ukraine and Macedonia have moved on a stable trend since last month.
Currently, steel plate offers to Turkey given by Ukraine-based Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works are standing at $565/mt CFR, while another Ukrainian producer Ilyich Iron & Steel Works is offering plate to Turkey at the base price level of $565/mt CFR - both for shipments in July. In addition, Macedonia-based Makstil's plate offers are still standing at $795-800/mt CFR Turkey for June shipment.
