Hot rolled steel plate prices in Taiwan – week 30

SteelOrbis has been informed that in Taiwan's domestic steel market the price of ASTM A36 hot rolled plate of 6-16 mm thickness has declined by NTD 200/mt ($7/mt) since last week and is now being quoted at NTD 20,000-24,000/mt ($662-795/mt) for delivery to customer, while the price of ASTM A572 Gr-50 hot rolled plate of 6-16 mm thickness is unchanged at NTD 25,900-26,900/mt ($858-891/mt) delivered to customer.
 
The prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-August shipments.
