CRC import offers in Brazil are being negotiated today in a price range of $1,150/mt to $1,200/mt, CFR conditions, stable from two weeks ago, local traders tell SteelOrbis.
In June, Brazil exported 6,200 mt of CRC, in average at $494/mt, while importing 42,600 mt of the product, in average at $769/mt, both FOB conditions.
In July, perspectives are for increased volumes of imported and exported CRC in Brazil.
In the Brazilian domestic market, CRC of the basic commercial grades is offered in medium to large volumes by producers at BRL 6,950/mt ($1,347/mt), against BRL 6,451/mt two weeks ago, ex-works, no taxes included.
