CRC imports in Brazil are negotiated in average at $650/mt, CFR conditions, stable from two weeks ago, according to sources.
In the Brazilian domestic market, CRC of the basic commercial grades is offered in medium to large volumes by the producers at BRL 6,100/mt ($1,099/mt), stable from two weeks ago, ex-works, full taxes except IPI.
According to the foreign trade authority, SECEX, in June, Brazil exported 1,200 mt and imported 28,800 mt of CRC, against respectively 2,500 and 29,500 mt in May.
The exports were all destined to South American countries, shipped by Usiminas (700 mt at $780/mt) and ArcelorMittal (500 mt at $1,236/mt), FOB conditions.
The imports were from South Korea (26,000 mt at $560/mt), China (2,600 mt at $590/mt), and Europe (200 mt at $1,068/mt).
