CRC imports in Brazil are negotiated in average at $695/mt, CFR conditions, stable from two weeks ago, according to sources.
In the Brazilian domestic market, CRC of the basic commercial grades is offered in medium to large volumes by the producers at BRL 6,200/mt ($1,025/mt), also stable from two weeks ago, ex-works, full taxes except IPI.
In November, Brazil 2,500 mt and imported 32,400 mt of CRC, against respectively 1,900 mt and 49,600 mt in October.
The exports of November were all destined to South American countries, shipped by Usiminas (1,300 mt at $810/mt) and ArcelorMittal (1,200 mt at $1,106/mt), FOB conditions.
The imports were from Asia (31,700 mt, of which 30,300 mt at $611/mt from China) and Europe (700 mt at $1,006/mt), also FOB conditions.
