CRC imports in Brazil are negotiated in average at $715/mt, CFR conditions, against $710/mt two weeks ago, according to sources.
In the Brazilian domestic market, CRC of the basic commercial grades is offered in medium to large volumes by the producers at BRL 6,100/mt ($1,173/mt), stable in BRL from two weeks ago, ex-works, full taxes except IPI.
In January, Brazil exported 4,000 mt and imported 28,000 mt of CRC, against respectively 3,300 mt and 18,600 mt in December.
The exports were destined to South America (2,300 mt at $1,031/mt), the US (1,500 mt at $858/mt) and Luxemburg (200 mt at $553/mt), FOB conditions.
The imports came from South Korea (24,500 mt at $512/mt), China (3,100 mt at $629/mt) and Hong Kong (400 mt at $582/mt), also FOB conditions.
