CRC imports in Brazil are negotiated in average at $700/mt, CFR conditions, against $685/mt two weeks ago, according to sources.
In the Brazilian domestic market, CRC of the basic commercial grades is offered in medium to large volumes by the producers at BRL 6,050/mt ($1,100/mt), stable in BRL from two weeks ago, ex-works, full taxes except IPI.
In July, Brazil exported 21,600 mt and imported 26,000 mt of CRC, against respectively 1,200 mt and 28,800 mt in June.
The exports were destined to Europe (17,500 mt at $649/mt), South American countries (2,700 mt at $990/mt), and the US (1,400 mt at $622/mt), FOB conditions.
The imports came from China (22,600 mt at $559/mt), South Korea (3,200 mt at $638/mt), and Europe (200 mt at $1,020/mt), also FOB conditions.
