Average export offer prices of Chinese flat steel products have indicated a slight downward movement in the past week. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $505-515/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $590-600/mt FOB.
During the given week, flat steel export offer prices from China have indicated a slight downtrend amid slack demand from downstream users. Against the backdrop of the recent rebound seen in domestic finished steel and raw material prices, it is thought that Chinese flat steel export offer prices will either move sideways or edge up slightly in the coming week.
