Average export offer prices of Chinese flat steel products have indicated downticks for hot rolled coil (HRC), while moving sideways for other products. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $380-390/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $440-450/mt FOB.
Since domestic HRC and CRC prices have risen in the given week, it is thought that Chinese export offer prices for some flat steel products may gain support and edge up slightly in the coming week.
