Notable wire rod, rebar, HRC and plate shipments into the US, March 14-20

Wire Rod:

• Two shipments totaling 1,563 metric tons of wire rod arrived into the Port of Mobile, Alabama on March 16 from ports south of Recife, Brazil.

Rebar:

• 2,733 metric tons of rebar arrived into the Port of Houston, Texas on March 14 from Black Sea and Sea of Marmara ports, Turkey.
• 2,832 metric tons of rebar arrived into the Port of Houston, Texas on March 19 from Mediterranean region ports, Turkey.

HRC:

• Two shipments totaling 4,451 metric tons of hot rolled coil arrived into the Port of Houston, Texas on March 15 from the Port of Eregli, Turkey.

Plate:

• Seven shipments totaling 1,599 metric tons of hot rolled steel plate arrived into the Port of New London, Connecticut on March 17 from the Port of Antwerp, Belgium.
