In September this year, Ukrainian steelmaker Zaporizhstal's finished steel product output increased by 1.3 percent year on year to 295,000 mt, its pig iron production moved up by 1.4 percent to 344,200 mt, while its crude steel production increased by 3.4 percent year on year to 355,100 mt, according to the company's results.
In the January-September period, Zaporizhstal saw an 8.9 percent year-on-year rise in its pig iron output to 2.78 million mt, its crude steel production increased by 1.5 percent year on year to 2.98 million mt, while its finished steel product output rose by 1.4 percent to 2.55 million mt year on year.
