Xiangtan Steel ups ex-factory medium plate prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai On January 16, Hunan Province-based Xiangtan Steel announced its latest ex-factory prices for medium plate. The details are as follows: 1. The price of common carbon plate has been increased by RMB 200/mt ($26/mt). As a result, the new price of 14-20 mm Q235 common carbon plate is RMB 4300/mt ($553/mt). 2. The low-alloy plate price has gone up RMB 150/mt ($19/mt). Following this adjustment, 16-25mm Q345 now costs RMB 4400/mt ($566/mt). All the above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of January 16.
