WISCO inks supply deals with Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant

Hubei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Wuhan Iron and Steel Group (WISCO) has announced that it recently signed five supply agreements with Russian pipe producer Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant (CHTPZ), according to which WISCO will supply steel to be used in manufacture of pipes for a crude oil pipeline project to connect Russia and China. Details regarding the supply volumes have not been disclosed.

Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant (CHTPZ) manufactures every kind of steel pipe, including pipes used for the construction of petroleum, natural gas and water pipelines, as well as pipes used in manufacturing processes.
