Wheatland Tube introduces new metallic tubing product

Chicago, Illinois-based Wheatland Tube, a division of the JMC Steel Group, announced Tuesday FasTrak Plus--electrical metallic tubing (EMT) with new interior diameter (ID) coating that delivers superior slip properties. FasTrak Plus EMT's special ID coating makes wire pulling on small size emt (1/2"--1") up to 20 percent faster and pushing conductor a lot easier. The Plus ID coating is standard on all Wheatland EMT from 1/2"--4", including Color Check(TM) and 20' EMT.

Wheatland said in a statement that development of the new tubular product was based on feedback from electrical contractors that the company received.
