Vyksa reports 2006 production results

The Russian pipe producer Vyksa Steel Works (Vyksa), a part of United Metallurgical Company (OMK) increased its pipe production by 50 percent year on year to 1.5 million metric tons in 2006 (up to December 25). In addition, OMK has reported that in 2006 its pipe producing plants shipped approximately 1.6 million metric tons of pipes, showing a 40 percent increase compared to 2005.
