Vallourec signs five-year framework contract with Total Group

France-based pipe manufacturer Vallourec has announced that it has signed a five-year framework contract with the global energy company Total Group to meet the latter’s oil country tubular good (OCTG) requirements. 
 
From standard API products to the most sophisticated products developed by Vallourec, the framework contract covers a complete range of products and services to fulfill all of Total's OCTG requirements whether they relate to exploration or development projects.
 
"Total is a strategic client for Vallourec, and this agreement rewards Vallourec's efforts to differentiate from its competitors and remain competitive in its value offer. The major contract set up over the last few years with Total will enable us to continue to develop joint initiatives and strengthen the collaboration between our teams," stated Didier Hornet, senior vice president eastern hemisphere at Vallourec.
