Vallourec to supply pipes for Ukrainian gas company from its Chinese plants

French steel pipe producer Vallourec has announced that it has signed a contract with the company UkrGasVydobuvannya, the largest gas production company in Ukraine, to deliver 3,000 mt of casing tubes and VAM® TOP connections, the most sold premium connection in the world today.

According to the company’s statement, the products will be supplied by its Chinese subsidiaries Tianda and VAM Changzhou.

Allen Wu, export sales manager of OCTG Division (China), stated that this order is showing them the way forward by opening the door not only to the Ukrainian market but also to the CIS region in the short-term future.
