Uzmetkombinat purchases new equipment

Uzbekistan-based steel producer Uzmetkombinat has announced that it has purchased technological metallurgy equipment for US$6.85 million.

The equipment was purchased within the scope of the company's investment project involving wide-scale work on replacing old equipment with new modern equipment. The re-equipment of facilities will help to decrease production expenditure and increase the profitability of Uzmetkombinat, increase production volumes and improve the quality of products, as well as decrease the volume of emissions to the atmosphere.
