Evraz ZSMK supplies rails for Tashkent underground

Evraz ZSMK, a Siberian steel division of steel and mining group Evraz, has announced that it has shipped 960 mt of rails with lengths of 25 meters for the underground rail system in Tashkent, capital of Uzbekistan.

Aleksey Yuryev, managing director of Evraz ZSMK, said that the company, which supplies rails for underground rail systems in Russia, has started to supply rails to Tashkent. He noted that development of relations with Uzbek customers is important as Uzbekistan is one of largest consumers of the products of the Russian company in the CIS.
