Uzghorod pipeline tender awarded to Khartsyzsk Pipe

Ukraine's number one large diameter longitudinal welded gas and oil pipes producer Khartsyzsk Pipe, won the tender to supply pipes for Bohorodchany-Uzhgorod gas pipeline. Considering that its annual pipe production capacity is 1.6 million tons, the Donetsk based company will spend four months to produce the pipes required for the gas pipeline project. Bohorodchany-Uzhgorod gas pipeline will be 234.3 km long. It will be made of steel pipes with a rust-proof layer. The gas pipeline will cross Ivano-Frankivsk and Transcarpathian regions of Ukraine. Khartszysk Pipe was selected among 15 bidders from Ukraine, Russia, France, Italy and Germany with an offer price 15% lower than the nearest bid.
