Baker Hughes has reported that for the week ending Nov. 10, 2023, the US rotary rig count decreased by two to 616.
The number of rigs drilling for gas remained level at 118, while the number of rigs drilling for oil decreased by two to 494. The overall US rig count is down by 163 rigs in a year-on-year comparison.
Meanwhile, the Canadian rig count increased by three to 199 rigs in the week ending Nov. 10. The Canadian rig count is down by one rig compared to the same reporting period last year.
