US OCTG exports up 43.4 percent in February

According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, US exports of oil country tubular goods (OCTG) totaled 26,552 mt in February 2023, up 43.4 percent from January and up 21.0 percent from February 2022. By value, OCTG exports totaled $49.3 million in February, compared to $40.1 million in the previous month and $41.9 million the same month last year.

The US shipped the most OCTG to Canada in February with 20,938 mt, compared to 12,665 mt in January and 12,201 mt in February 2022. Other top destinations included Mexico, with 1,948 mt; and Spain, with 1,917 mt.
