US OCTG exports down 24.6 percent in April

According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, US exports of OCTG totaled 11,868 mt in April 2023, down 24.6 percent from March and down 1.9 percent from April 2022. By value, OCTG exports totaled $39.9 million in April, compared to $47.8 million in the previous month and $47.6 million the same month last year.

The US shipped the most OCTG to Canada in April with 13,489 mt, compared to 18,288 mt in March and 13,755 mt in April 2022. There were no other significant destinations (1,000 mt or more) for US OCTG exports in April.
