The US International Trade Commission (ITC) made its final determinations in the expedited sunset review of the antidumping orders on welded stainless steel pipe from Korea and Taiwan on Thursday.

As expected, the ITC made affirmative determinations with respect to the orders on both countries.  The ITC's vote was unanimous (6 to 0) that revocation of the orders would be likely to lead to the continuation or recurrence of material injury to the US industry.

Previously, the US Department of Commerce made an affirmative determination in its phase of the sunset review, finding that revocation of these orders would be likely to lead to the continuation or recurrence of dumping.

Accordingly, these antidumping orders will remain in force for a further period of five years.

The products covered by this order can be found in the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) under the subheadings: 7306.40.5005, 7306.40.5015, 7306.40.5040, 7306.40.5062, 7306.40.5064 and 7306.40.5085.
