The US International Trade Commission (ITC) has instituted five-year reviews (sunset review) concerning the countervailing duty order on carbon and certain alloy steel wire rod from Brazil and the antidumping duty orders on the same product from Brazil, Canada, Indonesia, Mexico, Moldova, Trinidad and Tobago, and Ukraine.

The ITC will use the sunset reviews to determine whether the revocation of these orders would be likely to lead to a continuation or recurrence of material injury to the US domestic industry.

The interested parties are requested to submit their responses to the ITC by October 24, 2007. In line with the responses, the ITC will determine whether to conduct full reviews or expedited reviews.
