According to the data released by the
US Department of Commerce, in April this year
US tin plate exports to
India amounted to 6,445 metric tons, increasing by 25.78 percent month on month and up 20.81 percent year on year. April was the third consecutive month in which the
US increased its tin plate exports to
India.
US tin plate exports to
India accounted for approximately one third of the country's total steel product exports to
India in April, while these exports constituted about 38 percent of the
US' total tin plate exports in the given month.
On the other hand,
US tin plate exports to
India in the first four months of 2010 amounted to 19,023 metric tons.
