US DOC releases preliminary AD determination for S. Korean line pipe

SteelOrbis has learned that the US Department of Commerce (DOC) has released its preliminary determination in the antidumping (AD) investigation of circular welded carbon quality line pipe from South Korea

The following dumping margins have been calculated by the DOC:

SeAH Steel Corporation - 0.00 percent
Hyundai HYSCO - 2.34 percent
All other South Korean producers/exporters - 2.34 percent

The US DOC will make its final dumping determination by March 20, 2009.
