On Friday, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced its preliminary determination in the third administrative review of the antidumping order on light-walled rectangular pipe and tube from Mexico.

The review covers two Mexican producers/exporters - Maquilacero S.A. de C.V. and Regiomontana de Perfiles y Tubos S.A. de C.V. - during the period from August 1, 2010 through July 31, 2011.

The DOC calculated the following preliminary dumping margins:

(a)  Maquilacero - 0.00 percent

(b)  Regiomontana - 0.00 percent

The current dumping duty deposit rates are 0.08 percent for Maquilacero and 3.20 percent for Regiomontana. The DOC plans to complete this review by January 2013.  The current dumping duty deposit rates will remain in effect until the DOC's final results are published in the Federal Register.
