The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced the final result of its administrative review of the antidumping order against standard pipe from Thailand. The review covers the period of March 1, 2006 through February 28, 2007.

The DOC has calculated a final weighted-average dumping margin of 4.26 percent for the one Thai producer covered in the case, Saha Thai Steel Pipe. This final margin compares with the DOC's preliminary margin of 3.87 percent and the previous dumping duty deposit rate of 2.26 percent.

Accordingly, effective Wednesday, October 15, the dumping duty deposit rate for Saha Thai became 4.26 percent. The DOC has also calculated importer-specific dumping duty assessment rates and it will instruct US Customs and Border Protection to liquidate entries that were made during the period of review at these rates.
