The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has decided to extend the time limit for the preliminary results of the antidumping (AD) duty administrative review of light-walled rectangular pipe and tube from Turkey.

In a statement issued in the Federal Register, the DOC has extended the deadline for the preliminary results for the review from January 31, 2010 until May 31, 2010. The review, which covers the period from January 30, 2008 through April 30, 2009, concerns imports made by Toscelik Profil ve Sac Endustrisi A.S. and Tosyali Dis Ticaret A.S.

Commenting on its decision, the DOC said, "The Department has determined it is not practicable to complete this review within the statutory time limit because we require additional time to collect and analyze information needed for our preliminary results."

The final results are to be issued no later than 120 days after the publication of the preliminary results.
