US-based steel service center invests in new location

Anderson, Indiana-based S&S Steel Services, Inc, a privately-owned steel service center specializing in flat-rolled products, has purchased a new building from the Anderson Redevelopment Commission for $1.5 million.

S&S Steel Services has acquired the former Delco Remy Plant Land 20 industrial building, a single-story 350,000 square-foot industrial building that sits on 47 acres and was sold with an adjacent 22-acre parcel of vacant land, and is expected to invest in new equipment for the facility.
