US AD orders on pipe from seven countries to continue

The US International Trade Commission (ITC) made its final determination Thursday in the sunset review of the antidumping (AD) orders on welded carbon steel pipe and tube (standard pipe) from Brazil, India, Korea, Mexico, Taiwan, Thailand and Turkey and the countervailing duty (CVD) order on standard pipe from Turkey.

The ITC made an affirmative determination that revocation of these orders would be likely to lead to the continuation or recurrence of material injury to the US industry.

Accordingly, because the US Department of Commerce (DOC) had likewise made an affirmative determination in its sunset review, the AD orders on the standard pipe from Brazil, India, Korea, Mexico, Taiwan, Thailand and Turkey and the CVD order on standard pipe from Turkey will remain in force for a further period of five years.
