Union Steel announces May prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai Jiangsu province based steelmaker Jiangyin Union Steel released its galvanized coil and color coated coil ex-factory prices for May. Galvanized coil prices remained unchanged compared with April, while that of color coated coils increased RMB 100/mt ($12). After the adjustment, the price of 0.5 mm thick galvanized coils kept firm at RMB 6,300/mt ($785) and 1.0 mm thick galvanized coils at RMB 5,700/mt ($710). The price of 0.426 mm thick color coated coils increased to RMB 6,950/mt ($868), and that of 0.476 mm thick color coated coils to RMB 6,800/mt ($849). 17 percent VAT is included in all prices.
