Ukrainian seamless steel casing and tubing import quota utilization

According to the information issued by the Ukrainian Ministry of Economy, from October 1, 2010 to April 1, 2011 Russia and other countries utilized 85.62 percent of the annual quota imposed by Ukraine for seamless steel casing and tubing imports with outside diameter up to 406.4 mm, supplying a total of around 13,661 mt. According to these figures, Ukraine did not import any of the products in question in March 2011.
 
The total quota for the period starting from October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011 stands at 15,955 mt of seamless steel casing and tubing imports - up 725 mt compared to the previous annual quota, of which 86.23 percent was utilized.
