Ukrainian crude steel output to reach 2.62 million mt in April

According to the Ukrainian association of metal producers Metallurgprom, in April this year Ukraine's crude steel production is expected to increase by 0.6 percent compared to February this year to 2.620 million mt.
 
According to Metallurgprom's forecast, pig iron output in Ukraine will total 2.340 million mt in April, up 3.5 percent compared to February, while Ukrainian production of rolled steel is expected to be 2.380 million mt, up 4.3 percent compared to February.
 
In March this year, Ukrainian companies are expected to produce 2.8 million mt of crude steel, 2.540 million mt of pig iron and 2.550 million mt of rolled steel.
