Ukraine’s stainless pipe exports to Russia decline in Jan-Apr

Ukrainian stainless seamless pipe and long product exports to Russia in April this year increased by 176.1 percent year on year to 1,607 mt, according to Russia-based SpetsStal Association.
 
In particular, in the given month seamless stainless pipe exports to Russia increased by 20.6 percent to 260 mt, while stainless long steel product and stainless billet exports to the same destination rose by 268.1 percent to 1,347 mt, all on year-on-year basis.
 
In the January-April period of the current year, the volume of Ukrainian stainless steel exports to Russia decreased by 53.9 percent to 4,272 mt, including a 49.8 percent decline in long stainless steel and stainless billet exports to 3,125 mt, while seamless stainless pipe exports declined by 32.5 percent to 1,147 mt, all on year-on-year basis.
