Ukraine’s DMZ reports 59.4 fall in finished steel output for 2024

Ukrainian billet, long steel and rail producer Dnipro Metallurgical Plant (DMZ), a part of DCH Group, has announced its production results for December and the full year of 2024.

In the given month, the company did not produce any finished steel products, while its metallurgical coke production dropped by two percent compared to the previous month and by 3.8 percent year on year to 23,000 mt

Meanwhile, in 2024, DMZ’s finished steel output amounted to 42,900 mt, decreasing by 59.4 percent, while its metallurgical coke production came to 298,100 mt, down by 1.2 percent, both on year-on-year basis.
