In the January-April period this year, Dneprovsky Integrated Iron and Steel Works (DMK), one of the leading steel producing assets in Ukraine, decreased its crude steel production by 4.1 percent year on year to 844,097 mt, according to its official statement.
The output of finished steel products in the given period, on the contrary, increased by three percent year on year to 258,820 mt, while its production of pig iron remained unchanged at 786,862 mt.
