A draft law to increase and extend Ukraine's export duty on scrap was submitted to the Ukrainian parliament on April 4.

The bill suggests increasing the current €30/mt export duty on scrap to €42/mt, while extending the duty until September 2021.

Ukraine's export duty on scrap was increased from €10/mt to €30/mt in September 2016.
