The Ukrainian Ministry of Economy had ordered the cancellation of an investigation to determine whether the European Union (EU) decision to impose antidumping (AD) duties on Ukrainian seamless pipe imports in June 2006 constituted an act of discrimination. The ministry, on the recommendation of the county's Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade, has determined that the EU investigation into the Ukrainian seamless pipes imports were carried out in accordance with EU norms and regulations, and therefore did not constitute a discriminatory act.
