According to the statistics provided by the Turkish Steel Pipe Manufacturers Association (CEBID), in January of the current year Turkey's steel pipe exports increased 43 percent year on year and were up 9.01 percent month on month, amounting to 176,193 metric tons. The value of these export totaled $151.27 million, increasing by 31 percent year on year and by 11.05 percent month on month.
In January this year, significant increases were recorded in steel pipe exports from Turkey to European countries. The value of Turkish steel pipe exports to the UK surged by 190.37 percent to $23.80 million, while the value of exports to the Netherlands increased by 100.29 percent to $5.61 million, with the value of exports to Greece rising by 102.99 percent to $3.96 million, all year on year.
