Traders face documentation problems in Thailand

Two international trading houses had concluded sales of Indian origin hot rolled steel sheet in coils ex-SAIL to a number of Thai pipe makers and stockists, last month. SteelOrbis is reported that both traders have been facing major documentation problems with the T.I.S., as they failed to provide sufficient documents certifying quality of the material. Therefore the required T.I.S. approval had still not been obtained as of the beginning of the week. If the trading houses cannot find a quick solution to the problem, the cargoes, 30'000 mt in total, which was sold originally at the range of $260-263/mt CFR LO Bangkok level, may end being resold to some other market.
