TMK supplies premium connections for Lukoil’s Caspian offshore development

Russia's largest oil and gas pipe producer TMK has announced that it has won the tender for the supply of TMK FMT premium threaded tubing to the biggest Russian oil company Lukoil for its Yuri Korchagin offshore field development in the Caspian Sea.

Under the terms of the agreement, TMK will deliver 88.9 mm outside diameter TMK FMT seamless tubing pipe of N80 grade to Lukoil. Shipments are scheduled to run throughout June and July 2010.

"We are now seeing the results of TMK's strategic investment program. Following the commissioning of state-of-the-art production facilities, the company is now well positioned to enter new end markets, such as the Caspian offshore market," TMK's CEO Alexander Shiryaev commented.
